In addition to the research carried out at faculty level, Oslo University College has established three inter-disciplinary research programmes.
Communication, Education and Culture focuses on different cultural processes and arenas for socialisation and learning. The Faculty of Art, Design and Drama, the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Journalism, Library and Information Science, and the Faculty of Social Sciences participate in the program.
Technology, Design and Environment focuses on how design processes can contribute to solve various environmental problems. The Faculty of Art, Design and Drama, the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Engineering, and the Faculty of Health Sciences are involved in this programme.
